About ParentProvisions

ParentProvisions is a web site which recommends the best/cheapest family travel products available. Family travel products are defined broadly as anything that can be useful in making travel with kids safer, easier and more enjoyable. This includes car seat carriers, blankets, books, gadgets, websites, maps, and even ideas. All reviews are positive raves written by real users. We don't bother with negative reviews because our intent is to only offer the best.

New family travel product reviews are posted each week. The site provides prices and convenient sources for readers to purchase items. When Amazon.com is listed as a source (which it often is because of its prices and convenience) ParentProvisions receives a fractional fee from Amazon if items are purchased at Amazon on that visit. ParentProvisions also earns revenue from Google ads, although we have no foreknowledge nor much control of which ads will appear. ParentProvisions also earns income from more traditional FM ads, which are managed by Federated Media.

We maintain a ParentProvisions email list. Members of the list get a monthly email with the family travel products for that month before they are posted on the website (usually). While the reviews are primarily written by reader/users each one was edited, checked, polished, researched, packaged and designed by us.

In the future we will be launching updates to the site. The idea is to acknowledge the community of readers who have developed ParentProvisions, and in the spirit of the times, harness more of that collective wisdom. So version 2.0 will have member's comments, discussions, and more direct means of feedback. It will look a little different, too.
